How Europe Works: Introductory Seminar

15 young politicians from the Western Balkan countries as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYROMacedonia and Serbia come together in Vienna, Austria to learn more about the everyday life of the European Union. Topics as the EU current enlargement mood, decision making mechanisms of the main EU Institutions and the EU neighbourhood policy were talked during the 4 days meeting. On the other hand the participants got the chance to visit the Austrian Parliament and the City Hall meeting officials dealing with European issues. The program will continue with a study visit to Brussels in June. The program is realised by the cooperation between the Robert Schuman Institute, the Political Academy of the Austrian People’s Party and the Brussels based Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies.
