Young Leaders XXII/3: Challenges in the Economic and Social Life

19 – 23 January, 2016 in Budapest, Hungary

The Robert Schuman Institute in partnership with the Dutch Eduardo Frei Foundation (EFF) was happy to welcome back 18 participants for the last course of the XXII Young Leaders series, held in Budapest between 19 and 23 January, focusing on economic and social challenges. The participants had already taken part in two sessions in September and November.

During the January course participants had the opportunity to improve their debating & protocol skills, enlarge their knowledge on fiscal and economic policies on the local, regional, national and international levels as well as meet representatives of successful kick-starters and start-ups in the region to discuss right directions for decision makers. Furthermore, education matching labour market needs, retirement and welfare in an ageing Europe and healthcare system reforms were on the agenda of practical workshops.
