How Europe Works: Study visit

The second stage of the series after the introductory part in Vienna was held in Brussels, Belgium, where the participants had a chance to broader overview of the main functions and mechanisms of the European Institutions. Meetings were held in the European Parliament, European Commission, EPP Headquarters, Committee of Regions, Austria Permanent Representation to EU and the WMCES with relevant field experts of the Western Balkan countries. Discussions covered the enlargement processes as well as the role of different EU Institutions of the accession process further the possible cooperation field with the four presenting countries. The program was realized in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies.
