Political Communication for Young and Women Parliamentary Politicians

The Robert Schuman Institute with the kind support of the EPP Group in the European Parliament and the Robert Schuman Foundation Luxemburg organised a training namely  for over  50 young and women politicians of the 5 EPP affiliated parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina who signed the „Joint Declaration” back in 2015. From the EPPGroup side Cristina Maria Arion, Assistant to Cristian Preda MEP introduced the latest reports of the European Parliament on Bosnia and Herzegovina mentioning the efforts and the progresses the country indicates toward the European Union. The needed reforms and the support from the civil society was also mentioned by the assistant. Andrea Vodanovic, Assistant to Ivana Maletic MEP, Secretary General of YEPP pointed out the role of youth in the transition period of the country and the responsibility of the upcoming young generations to sustain European values and reinforce the so called European project. The program also gave a golden opportunity to develop their political communication skills as organizing press conference and giving interviews in front of camera.
