Study Visit of the French Presidential Elections

On the invitation of the Fondation Robert Schuman a group composed mainly of RSI alumni from Armenia, Czechia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Slovenia and Ukraine visited the first round presidential election campaign in France. The agenda included following public meetings and the final campaign press conference of Francois Fillon, briefings at the headquarters of Team Fillon as well as the central party office of Les Republicaines, discussion with the party youth organisation members, Alain Cadec MEP, former minister Francois Lamour and of course deliberation of the possible election outcomes at the FRS office with Pascale Joannin general director. The visit was not only a good networking and professional exchange opportunity with Paris colleagues, but also connected French speaking delegates of EPP parties from Central and Eastern Europe.
