Effective International Media Communication

Effective International Media Communication

18 – 20 May, 2017 in Budapest, Hungary

The Robert Schuman Institute in partnership with the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung organized a practical seminar for EPP sister party media staff from Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Macedonians who wanted to improve their skills and competences both on domestic and international level. The capacity building project aimed to help partner parties in improving their media performance towards national audience as well as the outside world, at the same time the intention was to show guidelines for handling the influence of competitors, e.g. Russian propaganda on domestic level.

The like-minded people from EPP member parties throughout the region, with similar duties, were brought together which helped the information exchange as well as their network-building.

Among our speakers we could welcome Dr. Zoltán Kovács, Government Spokesperson of Hungary, András László, Former EPP Group Staff Member, Hungarian Press and Eugen Sandu, EPP Group Press Adviser, RSI alumnus.
