“CITYCHANGERS: Sustainable Development on the Local Level”

 10-13 July, 2017 in Budapest, Hungary

The Robert Schuman Institute, in co-operation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Hungarian Office proposes to organise the following event for local politicians of EPP member parties from Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

The event provides practical input to municipal policy making in terms of approaches, tools and real-life examples concerning sustainability. Content will be offered for addressing the concrete challenges of the region related to sustainable and efficient use of resources, economic development and employment, while it shall also reflect the EPP principles and values related to sustainability. The event further supports international and regional cooperation by experience exchange and cross-border network building.

We will select 15 participants from the above mentioned countries, on the basis of individual applications recommended by relevant parties.

Dates: 4 working days as follows:

10-13 July, 2017 (Budapest, Hungary)

arrival: Sunday, 9 July before 18h00

departure: Thursday, 13 July after 15h00
