Academy of Public Life in Transcarpathia: How Europe Works

The second stage of the Academy of Public Life in Transcarpathia: How Europe Works was organised for the same group of 14 young leaders from KMKSZ ISZ who already took part in the firts, introductory program in Beregszasz, Ukraine in early April. This program gave a good understanding of European decision making mechanisms between the major EU Institutions as well as meetings were conducted in the Hungrian Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affaris and Trade, European Commission Representation to Hungary to discuss deeply EU-Ukraine relations, its perspectives towards the Union, current political developments and people to people contacts. The program will continue in Brussels in mid-June. This time the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Hungarian Office was our cooperating partner.
