Millennial Leaders – Political Communication for a New Generation

 

The Robert Schuman Institute in partnership with the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, Political Academy of the Austrian People’s Party and the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies organizes a practical training entitled “Millennial Leaders – Political Communication for a New Generation” for delegates of youth wings of EPP sister parties of Central European countries such as Austria, Czechia, Germany (Bavaria), Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

Dates: 2 working days as follows:
28-30 June, 2018 (Bratislava, Slovakia)
arrival: Thursday, 28 June, before 19.00h
departure: Saturday, 30 June, after 14.00h

Objectives:

  • Based on the previous events, long term work involving the youngest generation into the political life and activities in the Central European region
  • Creating strategies for mobilizing youth before the 2019 EU elections
  • Developing communication skills
  • Strengthening digital campaigns in the party youth organizations
  • Fostering EPP parties cooperation by English speaking young people, strengthening relations under the event framework

The program will be finalised also on the basis of selected participants expectations.

Application deadline: 11 June, 2018

Please note that participants should have their international and local travel costs be paid by their delegating party or by themselves,  full-board and lodging in Bratislava during the program will be covered by the organisers.
