Sustainable local development by the Visegrad way – Study visit

The Robert Schuman Institute, in partnership with the Institute for Christian-Democratic Politics, Future Proof s.r.o., Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies and Institute for Social Research MK91 organises the following study visit supported by the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) for participants of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

31 March – 06 April (Tuesday – Monday) in Hungary, Slovakia and Poland
arrival: 31 March until 09:00 am to Budapest, departure 06 April after 03:00 pm from Budapest

The main objective of the project is to show succesful examples on environmentally and socially sustainable local economic development. These examples are located in the most challenging environments, that is small rural settlements of the eastern regions of Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. A strong focus is put on sustainability and econominc growth opportunities based on local heritage and indentity.
