Our invited alumni speaker Marwan Abdallah.

Marwan Abdallah is the International Secretary of the Kataeb Party in Lebanon. He joined the party in 2007 when he was a member of the party’s students’ organization. He led the Kataeb Group in the Lebanese American University (LAU) during his undergraduate studies there and was elected to the university’s student council in 2009-2010. He was appointed as the head of Public & International Relations office at the Kataeb Students & Youth Department between 2012 and 2015. He assumed his current duties in 2016 after finishing his term with the Youth Department. Marwan Abdallah is also an independent consultant on local development, trainer of trainers on electoral campaigns and interpersonal skills. Marwan Abdallah has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs & Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy & Strategic Negotiations. He also completed many diplomas in leadership, negotiations, public speaking and Training of Trainers. He took part in many research work on sustainable economic development in Lebanon, the regulations and good governance of the Oil & Gas sector in Lebanon, as well as municipal work and local governments. Marwan Abdallah is the co-founder and board member of several NGOs in Lebanon, with focus on economic growth, youth empowerment and local development. He also took part in training schools for political parties in the MENA region on elections, candidates training, as well as interpersonal skills.
