How Europe Works: Building EU Partnership with Morocco

The Robert Schuman Institute (RSI), with the support of the Eduardo Frei Foundation (the Netherlands) is organizing a seminar in Rabat, Morocco,  under the title “How Europe Works: Building EU Partnership with Morocco” as follows:

18-20 November, 2022 (Friday – Sunday) in Rabat
arrival: 17 November evening, departure 20 November after lunch

Target group: the program will engage up to 16 members with relevant duties / functions in the EPP partner ISTIQLAL and RNI parties in Morocco.

This is a seminar that gives practical, useable knowledge on EU affairs and contact opportunities to EPP politicians, field experts, EU institution staff. Good knowledge of English is absolutely necessary, and to benefit the delegating party most, candidates should have an existing or prospective connection to EU oriented work inside the party.

What are we aiming to achieve:

  • support the EU partnership oriented work of EPP sister parties by capacity building
  • introduce trainees to the EPP family, including its platform of values and their consequences and implications for particular policies, as well as structures and international activities
  • provide practical knowledge on the development, structure and functions of the European Union and its institutions via interactive presentations, as well as practical and realistic information on EU partnership criteria
  • strengthen ties and further develop a cross-border professional network involving young people from Morocco

Attendance of all sessions within program framework is COMPULSORY!
