This was the first webinar organized this year, in the 30th anniversary of RSI. The webinar aimed to raise awareness among friends of Lebanon about the challenging situations the country is currently facing, including also the regional impact of the collapsed Assad regime in Syria. We discussed the political gridlock, the crippling economy, and the ever-present tensions, including the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. Our speakers provided first hand insights into the various political players, how regional instability impacts the situation, the fight against corruption, and efforts to restore the country’s economy.

We also talked about possible paths forward and what the future may hold for Lebanon.
