Sponsored by the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung
This study visit aimed to provide young political communication experts with insights into the CSU/CDU’s electoral strategies, media coverage of political campaigns, and the role of political education institutions like the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the functioning of a well-established political party in campaign mode. Participants were exposed to data-driven campaigning, social media strategies including the building of “political influencers”, and engagement with key policymakers.
It was also an aim to build networks, as between the participants and Bavarian partners, as well as among members of the group who share the same center-right values and have similar professional roles in their parties.
Parties involved:
Czechia: Tradice Odpovědnost Prosperita (TOP 09); Hungary: Tisztelet és Szabadság Párt (TISZA Party); Serbia: Serbian Progressive Party (SNS); Slovakia: Christian Democratic Youth of Slovakia (KDMS), Magyar Szövetség – Maďarská Aliancia.
