Building on the success of our previous HEW seminars held in Morocco, we recently organized another event for a group of aspiring public career-oriented party members and activists from Morocco, actively engaged in EU-related work within the RNI party. The participants had also the opportunity to visit the Moroccan Parliament. This seminar experience aimed to introduce them to the work of RNI’s Foreign Affairs Committee and Cooperation with Europe, as well as the work of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and the EU-Morocco Joint Parliamentary Committee. Additionally, we aimed to equip the participants with practical insights into the EU’s structure, daily operations, and institutional roles. We also guided nation branding in attracting investments (using examples from the EU) and explained the crucial role of introducing circular economy solutions to address waste challenges, a topic on which we had an engaging debate. Through a series of sessions, the participants gained valuable knowledge about building a stronger EU partnership with Morocco and explored the areas where this partnership could be further deepened.
